My name is
Joseph Noel Godoy Miranda. I was born in
October, 1976 in Santa Ana. Since I was
little I had a natural ability for drawing and was always good at it, (I never
went to drawing and painting classes as a child).
When I grew up, I
went to college and studied graphic design and that’s where my curiosity and my
love for painting and art was born.
However, at that time of my life I was unbalanced and unbridled and I abandoned
it. Then years passed and my mother told
me when she saw that I was lost, “Son you have a wonderful gift that God has
given you. Do not miss this opportunity
in life. You can be somebody, leave a
mark, a footprint on the Earth.”
It was then,
four years ago, that I started to live in the world of art, and this really
became a passion. I told my friend, who
then became my teacher, to give my wife and I painting classes. He gladly accepted, but classes only endured three
short months because I began to discover by other techniques by myself and
since then I have not stopped painting and creating. I love impressionism and the chiaroscuro techniques. These are my technical guides because I can
put my feelings on canvas, on wood, or even a wall, in every place that I feel
inspired using this technique.
